Here at New Life we love the Lord, and do our best to love each other. We try hard to develop our relationships with each other, and enjoy the people in our church fellowship. However, Jesus also said the following, “As the Father has sent me, I am sending you” (John 20:21). In Matthew 28:19 Jesus says, “Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations…” These statements are clear directives for us as Jesus’ followers not to stay where we are, but to go out from our fellowship and be His witnesses to our families, in our work places, our neighborhoods, our communities, and to the world. It is our reminder that we are not to stay here in the church and be comfortable waiting for others to come, but that all of us are sent from here.
New Life church plans and participates in activities throughout the year designed to provide opportunities to interact with people who otherwise are not attending any church. We also ask for and give financial support to various agencies whose mission is to the spread the good news about Jesus Christ. This includes supporting missionaries and ministries that are in other countries. Our desire is to see those who are currently outside our church walls become growing followers, or disciples, of Jesus Christ by “Impacting” people locally and globally with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
